MISSION STATEMENT:
"WAMEA shall be a non-profit organization equipping its members with the knowledge which distinguishes the occupation of Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AMEs) in the aviation industry".

OUR OBJECTIVES (summarized):
  • To represent and communicate the views and objects of Aircraft Maintenance Engineers to the Minister of Transport, industry and other applicable government departments.

  • To promote honorable practices in the aviation industry, to repress malpractices, and to settle disputed points of practice.

  • To promote, improve and generally advance the occupation of Aircraft Maintenance Engineer and to increase the knowledge of its members relating to the aviation industry through education and research.

  • To print, publish and disseminate technical or other information which relates to the occupation of Aircraft Maintenance Engineer or to the aviation industry in general.
